How long do I have access to the course?
12 months from the date of purchase. Extensions of up to 6 months are available upon request.
What’s the difference between the learning tracks?
All three tracks cover the same core material. Foundational (10-13 chapters) moves at a slower pace with more review time. Traditional (14-17 chapters) is the standard pace chosen by about 60% of families. Honors (18-20 chapters) covers the full course with additional depth and rigor.
Is there a sibling or group discount?

What happens after I purchase?
You’ll receive login credentials to access the course platform at courses.chemexplained.com. You can start immediately.
Can my student use this course in a co-op?

Do I need the Teacher or Student Resource Manuals?
While digital versions of all manuals can be downloaded and printed at home with a membership, we highly recommend purchasing the physical Student Resource Manual (SRM) and Student Lab Manual (SLM). They contain all the necessary chapter note sheets, worksheets, and lab sheets for the course. Printing them yourself requires a significant amount of paper and ink (over 400 pages!).

What is the prerequisite?
Algebra 1. Mr. Riz teaches all the math within the course, so students don’t need prior chemistry knowledge.
